It's great to be on March Break. The weather could be warmer, but spring is coming up. For today's post I wanted to use bright colours and butterflies to help me get in the spring spirit. For the card design I went to Freshly Made Sketches #77. Then I went to Hand Stamped Sentiments #155 for the colour choices. Next I went to Use it Tuesday #52 Diecuts, Punches and Cutouts.

Love and Sympathy Card

Happy Saturday,

I'm back for another post. I'm also participating again in the latest Sketch Frenzy Friday 011113 sketch. This sketch is great! Thankfully I won't be sending out the sympathy card right now, but it's good to keep some on hand for when it's needed. I like the pattern in this Festival of Prints DSP. I find that many of the designs are suitable for anytime of the year and not just for Christmas.

Here's my card:

CS: Crumb Cake, Soft Suede, Very Vanilla
DSP: Festival of Prints DSP Paper Pack
Stamp Set: Love & Sympathy
Ink: Soft Suede
Tools: Decorative Label Punch, Extra Large Oval Punch

Thanks for stopping by,

Ana

Today's card is for my dear friend's birthday. I knew I wanted to use the Papillon Potpourri stamp set because she loves butterflies. She also loves purple so I wanted to use Rich Razzleberry. It's one of my favourite colours as well. For the sketch I returned to Sketch Frenzy Friday for sketch 010413. I really like the CAS sketch and I know I'll be using it again.

Here's my card:

DSP: Brights Patterns Designer Pack
Stamp Set: Papillon Potpourri
Ink: Baja Breeze
Embellishments: Basic Rhinestone Jewels, 3/8" Baja Breeze Pleated Satin Ribbon (retired)
