Pennant Parade Christmas Card
Hello again,
This post shows my second Christmas card. For this card I used the very versatile Pennant Parade stamp set. I also was excited to use my new Festival of Prints DSP Paper Stack. For the design I went to Sketch Frenzy Friday - 120712. I really like this design and I'm sure I'll use it for another card in the future. I also used the challenge of embossing that I found in Just Us Girls Challenge #166 - Technique Challenge (Embossing). I would have to say that embossing is my favourite technique. It's such a quick and easy way to add texture and depth to a card.
Here's my card:
Here are the details:
CS: Cherry Cobbler, Lucky Limeade, Whisper White
DSP: Festival of Prints DSP Paper Pack
Stamp Set: Pennant Parade, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Cherry Cobbler, Early Espresso, Lucky Limeade
Tools: Big Shot, Textured Impressions Embossing Folder - Petals-a-Plenty, Petite Pennants Builder Punch, Word Window Punch
Happy stamping,
Ana

DSP: Dashing

Comfort Café Thank You
Hi there,
For today's post I created a card that will be entered in two card challenges. For the design layout I went to Sketch Frenzy Friday for their SFF110212 challenge and then I went to The Paper Players for theme challenge #120: "Give Thanks". I was inspired to use my Comfort Café DSP that I had yet to use. I also used some other supplies that had been untouched on my shelf for too long - the Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, the Quint-Essential Flower stamp, the 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch, and the Large Oval Punch. It was also the first time I opened up the 2012-2014 In Colour Card Stock paper package.
Here's my card:
The details for the card are:
CS: Cajun Craze, Midnight Muse, Pool Party, Soft Suede, Summer Starfruit, Very Vanilla
DSP: Comfort Café
Stamp Set: Day of Gratitude, Quint-Essential Flower
Ink: Cajun Craze, Midnight Muse, Soft Suede
Embellishments: Pool Party 3/8" Designer Printed Brad
Tools: Big Shot, Woodgrain Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, 2-3/8" Scallop Circle Punch,
1-3/4" Scallop Circle Punch, 1" Circle Punch, Boho Blossoms Punch, Modern Label Punch, Large Oval Punch, Word Window Punch
Happy stamping!

Wedded Bliss
Hi,
Today is an exciting day. It's the wedding of my cousin to his beautiful bride. The family has been looking forward to this day for a few years.
For their wedding card I wanted to incorporate the wedding colours and the flourish design on the wedding invitation. The wedding colours are purple, pink, orange, and brown. The flourish design reminded me of the flourish in the Bliss stamp set. Choosing the stamp set was easy, but coming up with the layout that used all the four colours was trickier. In the end I'm happy with what I came up with.
Here's the card:
Here are the details for the card:
CS: Melon Mambo, Pumpkin Pie, Rich Razzleberry, Whisper White
DSP: Brights Patterns Stack
Stamp Sets: Bliss, Silhouette Sentiments (Hostess - retired), Tiny Tags
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Embellishments: Basic Rhinestones,Pumpkin Pie 3/8" Taffeta Ribbon (retired), Vintage Trinkets
Tools: Big Shot, Framed Tulips Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Jewelry Tag Punch

Christmas in July...
So my hope this year is to get all my Christmas cards made over the summer (when I actually have time to be creative). Last year I failed at getting hand made Christmas cards out to everyone due to the crazy - busy December season at school and home.
Here is the first card I've come up with. It uses the "Be of Good Cheer" DSP and "Ornament Keepsakes" stamp set and die cut.
I'll keep posting my creations... now back to enjoying this beautiful weather!
Cheers,
Heather

Father's Day Card
Happy Saturday,
Today is such a great day. The weather is bright and warm and I'm done my final report cards for the year. Yeah! Today's post is a Father's Day card. I am using up some of my hoarded stash which is the challenge in Use it Tuesday's theme on their blog. This card will be entered into this week's Use it Tuesday #33: All About Dad. For the card I'm using the To the Nines DSP which I've had for a long time. I'm also using up my hoarded stash of the Chocolate Chip ribbon and copper brads. The design is pretty clean and simple this time. I didn't want to spend too much time on this card because, while I love stamping, it's too nice to be indoors.
Here's my card:
The details are:
CS: Always Artichoke, Chocolate Chip, Sahara Sand
DSP: To the Nines
Stamp Set: Well Scripted
Ink: Chocolate Chip
Embellishments: Chocolate Chip 5/8" Grosgrain Ribbon, Copper Mini Circle Brads
Enjoy the day!

Enchanted
Hello,
I'm back for another post. I enjoy checking out the various card blogs that are out there and I recently discovered a new one. It's Sketch Frenzy Friday and for this post I'm participating in the SFF041312 sketch challenge. I really like this layout and right away I knew I wanted to use the Everyday Enchantment DSP. I wanted to coordinate it with the Fresh Vintage stamp set, but I had to turn the layout on its side to accomodate the stamp image. I decided not to include a sentiment on the outside. I like having several blank cards on hand.
Here's the sketch:
Here's my card:
Here are the details:

DSP: Everyday Enchantment (Sale-A-Bration)
Stamp Set: Fresh Vintage (Sale-A-Bration)

Happy Easter
Happy Tuesday,
I'm glad to be back again for another post. March has been great for me for card making. I went to Hand Stamped Sentiments for HSS Challenge #111 - Easter and then I went to SU -Only Challenges #41 - Think Spring or Autumn.
Here's my card:

Happy Anniversary Mom & Dad!
Happy Saturday,
Yesterday was my parents' 49th wedding anniversary. I can't believe that they've been married as long as 49 years. Of course I made a card for them. I used the Valentine Defined stamp set for the image. I know Valentine's Day is over, but I love the kissing flamingoes for an anniversary card. For the sketch of the card I went to Freshly Made Sketches #24. I am also participating in another card challenge. This challenge is Stampin Royalty's #113 Dressing Down (No Embellishments) challenge.
Here's my card:
Here are the details:
CS: Basic Gray, Real Red, Whisper White
DSP: Love Impressions
Stamp Set: Valentine Defined, Teeny Tiny Wishes
Ink: Pretty in Pink, Real Red
Tools: Big Shot, Perfect Polka Dots Textured Impressions Embossing Folder, Scallop Trim Border Punch
Have a great weekend,

Blossoming Flowers
Hi,
I'm happy to be back for another post. For today's post I challenged myself to only use colours in the Regals Collection. I find that I don't usually create cards using these colours. I'm glad that I did because I really like this colour combination. For the design layout of the card I went to Clean and Simple Stamping's Fall to Layout 178. I really like this clean and simple design. I decided to not add a sentiment because like to have some blank cards on hand.
Here's the sketch:
Here's my card:
Here are the details:
CS: More Mustard, Elegant Eggplant, Cherry Cobbler, Very Vanilla
Stamp Set: Bold Blossom

I'm happy to be back for another post. For today's post I challenged myself to only use colours in the Regals Collection. I find that I don't usually create cards using these colours. I'm glad that I did because I really like this colour combination. For the design layout of the card I went to Clean and Simple Stamping's Fall to Layout 178. I really like this clean and simple design. I decided to not add a sentiment because like to have some blank cards on hand.
Here's the sketch:

Congrats - Baby on the Way
Hi,
Well, it's been so long since my last post. Home life and school has been so hectic and sadly I haven't had much time to create cards. I hope that I have more time in the near future for creat more cards.

Happy New Year!
Happy New Year!
I hope 2012 brings you peace, good health, and happiness. Well, I've already been off for a week and I thought that I'd have more time to stamp, but with the holidays and family time, I haven't had much time. I started the year off with a new card and I'm happy to be back for another post.
Today's post is to celebrate the new year. For the sketch I went to Create with Connie and Mary for CCMC182 Sketch Challenge. I also went to Friday Mashup for Mashup Challenge 39 to create a project that sparkles and/ or make a project celebrating the new year. I decided to mashup both challenges and created a sparkly card to celebrate the new year.
Here's my card:
Here are the details:

DSP: Night & Day
Ink: Versa Mark
Embossing Powder: Pewter
Stamp Set: Teeny Tiny Wishes
Embellishments: Basic Rhinestones
