Today is such a rainy, dreary day that it's perfect for card making. I'm so glad that Heather found her camera and I'm looking forward to seeing her posts this week. I LOVE her latest post with the star scrapbook and coordinating card. For my card I went to a few blogs to participate in some challenges. First I used the sketch challenge #69 from Inkspirations Challenges. Then I went to CR84FN Color Challenge for their CR84RN28 colour challenge. Next I went to Use It Tuesday for their challenge #7 to use some bling. I love all the texture in this card from my new square lattice embossing folder to the pom pom trim to the sponging I did. I really like the effect. What do you think? I'd love to receive your comments.
Here's what I came up with:
Here's a close up of the glitter on the cupcake:
Here are the details for the card:
CS: Real Red, Daffodil Delight, Whisper White
Ink: Read Red, Crushed Curry (retired)
Stamp Set: Create a Cupcake
Embellishments: Basic Rhinestones, Dazzling Diamonds Glitter, Daffodil Delight Pom Pom Trim
Tools: Big Shot, Square Lattice Embossing Folder, Scallop Edge Border, Build a Cupcake Punch, 2-Way Glue Pen, Crimper
Thanks for checking in,
Ana
