Island Flowers

Hello again,

The calendar says May but it's been unseasonably cool and very wet around here. In fact it's raining again as I'm writing this post. I wanted to make a card that would make me feel like it was a warmer Spring. I'm participating in a couple of challenges for this card. First I went to Picture Perfect Creations for the PPC Specialty Challenge #2 and then I hopped over to Stampin' Up Only Challenges their SUO Challenge 19 - May Flowers.

Here's the sketch:

Here's my card:

Here are the details:

CS: Old Olive, Rose Red, Whisper White
DSP: Island Oasis (retired)
Ink: Rose Red
Stamp set: Tropical Party (retired)
Embellishments: Rose Red 1/4" grosgrain ribbon (retired), Rose Red brads (retired)
Tools: 1-3/8" Circle Punch, 1-3/4" Circle Punch

Thanks for stopping by,
Ana
